A PAIR OF .600 PERCUSSION PISTOLS, MODEL '1822 CONVERSION FOR THE GENDARMERIE', serial no's. 113 and none visible,
converted circa 1825, with round iron 5in. barrels, offset nipples, flat locks with radiused and pointed tails, traces of arsenal signatures below the original filled pan cut-outs, walnut full-stocks with semi birdshead butts, iron pommel-caps and trigger-guard bows, twin banded iron nose-caps and iron under-barrel ramrods (one missing), small losses and darkly stained throughout, each pistol 10in. overall and 1lb. approximately in weight
