A .750 PERCUSSION MUSKET, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'EAST INDIA CO. PATTERN '42 TYPE', no visible serial number,
circa 1845, with round iron 39in. barrel (stained), block fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, solid rounded top-tang, borderline engraved lock marked with the rampant lion trademark of the East India Company, walnut full-stock (some armourer's patched repairs), brass furniture including lower tang with raised spur and iron under-barrel ramrod, overall length 54 1/2in., weight approximately 10lbs.
