probably converted from an 1809 model, with round 41in. barrel (frosted externally), applied blade fore-sight, folding rear-sight, the breech marked with the calibre '0.695', a date of '1847', another possibly '1859' (obscured) and various inspector's marks, solid top-tang, plain lock of flint form marked with a small crown above 'DANZIG' above script 'FGS'?, stained beech full-stock, brass furniture all marked with a crown over 'D' over '26', iron underbarrel ramrod, swivels absent, overall length 56 1/2in., weight approximately 9 1/2lbs.
