circa 1760, with triple banded turn-off 4 1/2in. iron cannon barrels (frozen), rounded breeches with London proofs, the undersides signed 'RICH'D KING', the tops 'LONDON', typical Queen Anne style side-hammer rounded boxlock actions with recumbent 'L' shaped frizzen springs and swan-necked cocks, walnut butts with bulbous pommels capped with silver grotesque mask butt-caps (hallmarks obscured), pierced white-metal sideplates and guarded triggers, each pistol 11 1/4in. overall, weight approximately 1lb. each
