A 22-BORE FLINTLOCK DUELLING-PISTOL SIGNED BARWICK, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with octagonal 9in. barrel, small blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, London proofs and engraved band at breech, sparsely engraved pointed top-tang, slightly curved bevel-edged lockplate with stepped and pointed tail, swan-necked cock, semi rainproof pan with 'BARWICK' signature below, roller to the frizzen spring, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped butt (some cracks and repairs), plain trigger, twin barrel keys without escutcheons and horn-tipped ramrod, 15in. overall, weight approximately 2lbs.

Other Notes: This pistol was almost certainly retailed by George & Charles Barwick of Norwich, who traded between 1797-1804
