A 20-BORE FLINTLOCK HOLSTER-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
French or Belgian circa 1790, with octagonal to round 8in. barrel, small blade fore-sight to the front of the flat sighting plane, solid top-tang, plain flat lock with pointed tail, lozenge pan, swan-necked cock, bridleless frizzen, walnut full-stock with chequered panels to the grip, moulded band at pommel and bevel-edged flat brass pommel-cap, moulded brass sideplate, pillar fronted brass trigger-guard bow and brass ramrod throat and pipes, replacement ramrod, 14 1/2in. overall, weight approximately 2lbs.
