circa 1944, with blacked 6 1/2in. straight double-edged blade, the central ridge dipping just forwards of the guard, blued boat-shaped cross-guard stamped on the upper surface with a broad arrow device and 'B2', blacked skinny roll-chequered brass hilt (blacking thinning), bun pommel and complete with its original leather scabbard with nickel drag, belt loop and press-stud securing strap (sleeve tabs removed), overall length of knife 11 1/4in., weight in scabbard under 1lb.
