A SCARCE BOXED .22 CO2-POWERED AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PLAINSMAN', no visible serial number,
circa 1955, with 5in. black anodised rifled barrel, blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, cast alloy receiver, bolt-housing and reservoir (some fading to black finish), rear-mounted pull-back cocking piece, black plastic grips with raised chequered panels, untested, complete with its wood-grain effect card carton (one side of the box lid absent, glued repairs elsewhere) with printed instructions inside lid and a selection of spent CO2 capsules from same, overall length 10 1/2in., weight approximately 2lbs.
