30in. nitro barrels with raised tapered file cut rib, the tubes engraved 'W. & C. SCOTT & SON. 78 SHAFTESBURY AVENUE. LONDON. SCOTT'S IMPROVED BOLT', and 'THE PREMIER' in gothic script and with the Scott tower trademark, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, some minor internal pitting, large treble-grip action with broad percussion fences and side-clips, external cross-bolt, the toplever finely carved in relief with acanthus, rebounding sidelocks with ornate hammers, articulated front trigger, fine acanthus scroll engraving, the action flats with 'THE PREMIER GUN' engraved in gothic script, retaining much historic renewed colour-hardening and finish overall, 14 1/4in. well-figured stock, sling swivels, fore-end with small insert repair, weight 7lb. 4oz.
