29 3/4in. nitro reproved replacement barrels, the rib engraved 'CHARLES BOSWELL. MAKER. 126. STRAND. LONDON. W.C.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, action incorporating William Powell patent lift-up toplever, patent no. 1163 of 7th May 1864, use number 1932, carved percussion fences, broad strikers, bar-in-wood, rebounding sidelocks with flat sided hammers, border and acanthus scroll engraving, 14in. stock including 1/2in. extension, weight 7lb.
