26 3/8in. nitro barrels with 8mm ventilated matt top-rib with intermediate bead sight, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and imp. cyl. choke; hold-open toplever, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, gold-washed single trigger, carved oak leaf fences, the action with border and acanthus scroll engraving surrounding vignettes of a brace of pigeon in flight, old silver finish, 14 3/8in. semi-pistolgrip stock including buttplate and with an escutcheon carved in relief with a partridge in flight, sling swivels, weight 7lb. 10oz. (28in. barrels) and 7lb. 7oz. (26 3/8in. barrels) in its original leather case with 'GUN CASE BY BROWNING ST. LOUIS MO.' plaque and provision for both sets of barrels
