U.S.A.' in a banner, finely scroll engraved sight rib, gold poincon initialled SDH, the receiver dovetailed with a peep rearsight, ramp-mounted gold bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Swarovski Z6 1-6x24 EE telescopic sight, serial no. RA7700475, in scroll-engraved quickly-detachable Talley mounts, roller safety with gold 'F' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving with ropework bordering, the triggerplate signed 'E.L. PETERS', retaining virtually full original colour-hardened finish, 14 3/8in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, gently domed blued steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap) with acanthus scroll engraving and chequered steel buttplate, weight 7lb. 10oz.
