Product Details

* SMITH & WESSON, USA
A RARE .35 (S&W) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL '1913', serial no. 2782,
circa 1915, with blued 3 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, notch rear-sight, heavily ribbed cocking piece with push-through release catch, blued frame with 'S&W' logo, front-mounted grip-safety, rear-mounted safe, smooth walnut grips and heel magazine release, the whole retaining much original finish throughout

Other Notes: Only 8350 of these pistols were produced between 1913 and 1921. High cost of manufacture, lack of the correct ammunition and the convenience of other contemporary models such as Colt's '1903' meant it was not a great success. Expert opinion suggests that there are less than five examples currently in the UK
