A .41 (RIMFIRE) SINGLE-SHOT VEST-PISTOL, MODEL 'THUER PATENT No.3 DERRINGER', no visible serial number,
circa 1880, with 2 1/2in. nickel-plated London proved barrel marked 'COLT' in large letters on the top, crescent fore-sight, swing sideways nickel-plated action with central hammer and spur-trigger, smooth walnut birdshead grips, good amount of plated finish remaining
