circa 1909, with unique 'long-recoil' 4in. sliding barrel and bolt, blued barrel shroud and receiver, the top-flat marked 'SOLE AGENT FOR SOUTH AFRICA' over 'R. MULLER, CAPE-TOWN', the receiver bridge marked 'PATENT ROTH' and 'Sauer' trademark behind charger bridge, removable side-plate to frame (catch replaced), internal magazine, replacement chequered hard-rubber grips with 'Sauer' trademark, the whole retaining traces of original finish with some surface pitting
