AN 80-BORE PERCUSSION TRANSITIONAL REVOLVER, MODEL 'BAR-HAMMER', no visible serial number,
circa 1840, with round 4 3/4in. iron barrel, bead fore-sight, sighting aperture to the top bar hammer, plain short six-shot cylinder, white-metal scroll engraved frame with rounded scroll engraved action body, ring-trigger and smooth walnut grips with iron domed pommel set with a central trapdoor for caps.
