dated for 1855, with round 6in. iron barrels, bead fore-sights, standing notch rear-sights, solid top-tangs, borderline engraved bar-action locks signed 'TOWER' along with the dated and bearing 'VR' and crown devices, walnut full-stocks with brass furniture, iron lanyard rings to pommels and side-mounted iron belt-hooks, captive iron stirrup ramrods, one pistol lightly cleaned and with mainspring at fault
