Continental, probably Belgian circa 1835, with ribbed etched damascus rifled 3 1/2in. barrel, tuned breech, squared fully scroll engraved boxlock action with offset central hammer, smooth ivory bag-shaped butt (age cracks) the pommel mounted with an embossed silver trap and concealed folding trigger
