circa 1795, with 10in. browned octagonal barrels, the top-flats signed 'P. BOND, 45, CORNHILL, LONDON', bead foresights, engraved border at breech, shield and scroll engraving to top-tangs, slightly curved bevel-edged locks signed 'P. BOND', semi rainproof pans, gold lined touch-holes roller frizzens and sliding safes behind the scroll engraved hammers, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, small oval escutcheons to wrists, blued and engraved spurred trigger-guard bows, pineapple finials, turned ramrod pips and tool-ended ramrods, complete with a period, probably associated oak storage case relined in coarse green baize and containing a scissors ball-mould, a red Morocco leather covered powder-flask, a pan brush and loading rod
