A PAIR OF .550 FLINTLOCK SERVICE BELT-PISTOLS, MODEL 'MODIFIED SEA SERVICE', no visible serial numbers,
circa 1810 and officially shortened to 9in. barrels probably for army use, Tower proofs and crowns at breech, borderline engraved locks marked with 'GR' and crown devices and signed 'TOWER' at the tail, walnut full-stocks with carved aprons around the solid top-tangs (one chipped at fore-end), heavy brass furniture, iron belt-hooks mounted to the left hand sides and iron under-barrel ramrods, cleaned with some distressing to wood
