A 50-BORE FLINTLOCK POCKET-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1795, with slightly swamped iron 3 1/4in. octagonal barrel, the top-flat with traces of engraved decoration, no provision for fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to top-tang, flat bevel-edged lock with ball tail signed forwards of the hammer 'MOULLAND A BAYERN', walnut full-stock with chequered pistol-grip, the heel mounted with a stepped iron butt-cap, iron furniture, old repairs to fore-end and probable replacement turned wood ramrod
