30in. nitro reproved fine damascus barrels with raised matt rib with acanthus scroll designs at the breech end and 'SCOTT'S IMPROVED BOLT' in an oval and gold-inlaid '1', tubes engraved 'W. & C. SCOTT & SON. 10 GT. CASTLE STREET. REGENT CIRCUS. LONDON. ENGLAND.' and the model designation in ornate gothic script, with Scott trademark, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, right wall at 18+, treble-grip action with crossbolt, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety, Scott patent crystal cocking-indicators, patent no. 3223 of 1875, Scott patent gas check system, patent no. 617 of 1882, use number 5791, Perkes patent ejectors, patent no. 10679 of 1886, use number 882, the action, lockplates and furniture with fine acanthus scroll engraving surrounding finely engraved vignettes of game birds in flight, including duck and snipe, canada geese, woodcock, partridge and grouse, retaining traces of original colour-hardening, 14 3/4in. figured stock (possible replacement), weight 6lb. 14oz.
