A BELGIAN 8-BORE ROTARY-UNDERLEVER DOUBLE-BARRELLED HAMMER RIFLE, no visible serial number,
circa 1890, 29 1/2in. black powder only barrels, raised matt rib with open sights and two scroll-engraved folding leaf sights, bead fore-sight, large action with carved percussion fences, elongated top strap, Jones patent rotary-underlever, rebounding back-action locks, border and scroll engraving, retaining much colour-hardening and finish, 13 3/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock with sling eyes and including 3/4in. ventilated rubber recoil pad, fore-end with grip-catch release lever, weight 14lb. 15oz.
