A RARE .22 (L/R) FACTORY ENGRAVED TARGET-PISTOL, MODEL 'WOODSMAN MATCH-TARGET', serial no. 215063-S,
for 1966, with blued 6in. slab-sided barrel engraved with borderlines, scrolls, vines and geometric patterns, the sides of the barrel with deep, broad single borderline engraved flutes, ramp and blade fore-sight, the left side of breech marked 'MATCH TARGET' together with the Colt trademark within a field of scrolls, the right side similar, but with the serial number and a prowling leopard, engraved blued slide with adjustable rear-sight, chequered walnut semi-anatomical grips, ribbed front and back-straps, engraved trigger-guard bow with polished trigger, much finish throughout
