circa 1848, with blued octagonal 6 3/4in. barrel, dove-tailed blade fore-sight, plain cylinder with borderline engraved to leading edge, safety notches to the nipple fences, borderline engraved open iron frame with wingnut barrel removal and chequered long-spurred hammer, the left hand side of frame signed in a banner 'WEBLEY'S PATENT', the back-strap marked with the serial number and 'BY HER MAJESTY'S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT', iron butt-cap with stud for lanyard ring (missing), chequered walnut grips, guarded trigger and hinged rammer mounted to left hand side of barrel, traces of finish
