A 46-BORE PERCUSSION TURN-OVER POCKET-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
probably French or Belgian circa 1840, with round turn-off 3in. barrels (frozen), false rifling at the muzzles and numbered '2' and '3' respectively, rounded breech-blocks mounted on a circular plate the squared boxlock action with spring side-bars allowing uni-directional rotation, naturalistic carved hammer, concealed automatic trigger, chequered walnut butt with swollen pommel and lozenge-shaped heel-plate
