Belgian, circa 1860, with 23 1/2in. iron barrels (some external pitting), bead fore-sight, scroll engraved top-tang, curved borderline and scroll engraved back-action locks, en-suite hammers, walnut half-stock, the chequered wrist terminating in a carved stag's head with inlet glass eyes, moulded cheek-piece, iron furniture and brass tipped wood ramrod, 37in. overall
