circa 1860, possibly Manton of Calcutta, with re-browned 30in. barrels, Birmingham proofs, borderline and scroll engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved bar-action locks with further gamescene engraving and signed 'MANTON', slab-sided scroll engraved hammers, chequered walnut half-stock, iron furniture and brass mounted wood ramrod, some external pitting, iron surfaces worn, stock chipped at toe.
