of typical form from the Caucasus circa 1800, with iron 12in. barrel slightly flared at the muzzle and with shallow moulded sighting ridge and band at breech, the entire barrel profusely covered in gold koftgari floral designs (losses), small miquelet lock also with gold koftgari decoration to the bridge, hammer, mainspring and frizzen, black stippled leather-covered full-stock with silver back-strap decorated with geometric patterns in niello, typical ivory ball pommel with silver wire inlays (losses), gold koftgari decorated ball trigger and four narrow silver barrel-bands
