circa 1790, with twist iron 10in. octagonal barrel, bead- fore-sight, the top flat at breech signed 'LONDON, flat step-tailed lock with engraved detail signed forwards of the hammer 'S & T PHILLIPS', roller frizzen, plain walnut full-stock with bag-shaped butt, brass trigger-guard and tang, two barrel keys, brass ramrod thimbles and brass-tipped mahogany ramrod
