circa 1795, with private proved 9in. iron barrel, moulded band at breech, solid flared top-tang, borderline engraved lock signed at the tail 'DUBLIN CASTLE' and marked with a 'GR' crown device forwards of the hammer, walnut full-stock with carved apron around the top-tang, drop-points behind the lock and side-plate, brass furniture and period wood ramrod
