A GOOD .750 FLINTLOCK SERVICE MUSKET TO THE 2ND REGT. LONDON (LOYAL) VOLUNTEERS, MODEL 'INDIA PATTERN BROWN BESS', serial no. 18,
circa 1810, with blue-brown 39in. London proved barrel, small block fore-sight, moulded band and shallow sighting notch at breech on tang, bevel-edged borderline engraved lock signed 'H. NOCK', walnut three-quarter stock with brass furniture, the top-spur of heel-plate marked '" REGT.' over 'L.L.V.', the side-plate further marked 'L.I.Y. 18', iron rammer and stirrup swivels (stock cracked forwards of side-plate)
