A 16-BORE FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with iron two-stage 14 1/4in. barrel banded at the intersection and with banded muzzle, the top of breech signed 'LONDON', Birmingham proofs, iron lockplate with bevel edge and stepped tail, signed forwards of the hammer 'DUST' and with a sliding safe behind the hammer, walnut full-stock with exposed muzzle (cracked through below lock and into wrist, period iron sideplated repair), brass furniture and replacement iron ramrod
