circa 1910, with heavy tapering smooth ebony 32in. shaft terminating in a brass ferrule, the swollen silver top embossed with acanthus leaves and floral designs surrounding the flaming bomb device of the Grenadier Guards above a banner inscribed 'GRENADIER GUARDS', the top of pommel left vacant for initials
