A FINE AND RARE LUDWIG LOEWE 7.65X25mm (BORCHARDT) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL C93 'SYSTEM BORCHARDT PATENT', serial no. 1034,
circa 1896, with 7 1/2in. sighted barrel, receiver-ring signed 'WAFFENFABRIK LOEWE BERLIN' and side of the receiver 'SYSTEM BORCHARDT PATENT', the toggle marked 'D.R.P. NO. 75837', extension to the cocking piece on the left hand side, chequered walnut grips, the whole retaining the majority of its original finish and colour, complete with its matching number magazine and matching numbered stock-board with attached leather holster (finish on leather worn), the underside edge stamped 'GESETZLICH GESCHUTZT' (legally protected)
