circa 1870, with 30in. browned damascus barrels signed 'J. BLANCH & SON. 29. GRACECHURCH ST. LONDON,' and with engraved band at breech, finely scroll engraved rotary under-lever action and signed back-action locks (strong traces of colour), well figured walnut stock with chequered grip, chequered end with heel and toe-plates, chequered walnut splinter fore-end, scroll engraved furniture, in its makers oak and leather case (leather worn), lined and compartmented in green baize together with an oil bottle, cleaning rods and spent cases
