with 33in. barrel fitted with a block and blade front-sight and ladder rear-sight, long bayonet bar at muzzle the action tang stamped with two line Remington patent and address legend, two piece full walnut stock, the fore-end secured with three spring retained barrel bands, all impressed with the Islamic crescent star emblem, the left butt impressed with the Khedive's tughra (faint) and the right side with the issue markings 'Z D P / 4' complete with sling swivels, rod an incorrect replacement
