A .65 DOUBLE-BARRELLED PERCUSSION PISTOL CONVERTED FROM FLINT, SIGNED BLISSETT, CIRCA 1800/1840, no visible serial number,
with 9in. browned twist barrels, the fixed breech engraved and decorated with a feathered pattern and a sunburst, converted to percussion by the drum and nipple system, the drums with a flower head with vented platinum plugs to the centres, border engraved locks with stepped tails and bolt safeties, both locks engraved with foliate scrolls and signed 'BLISSETT', the right lock has been incorrectly re-engraved and does not match the left lock with the name Blissett being in the wrong place and has a replacement hammer, good walnut half-stock with chequered grip, the iron trigger-guard engraved with martial trophies on the bow and terminating in a pineapple, probably original ramrod
