A PAIR OF .65 CONTINENTAL FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS, CIRCA 1780, no visible serial numbers,
12in. two stage octagonal to round barrels with top flats and inset brass fore-sights, both with traces of markings at breeches, bevelled plain unmarked locks with stepped tails and faceted pans, swan-neck cocks, one a period replacement, brass mounted full walnut stocks carved in relief around the locks, sideplate barrel tangs and rammer channels, the brass mounts with long spurred butt-caps, large flat sideplates, sheet brass nose bands, trigger-guards and two rammer pipes, complete with wooden rammers
