circa 1800, with 14 1/2in. octagonal to sixteen-sided to round barrel, banded and flared muzzle, triangular form bayonet with concave sides released via a catch on the tang, borderline engraved bevel-edged lock signed 'H. NOCK' below the plain pan, safety slide behind the swan-necked cock (thumb-piece absent from safe), walnut full-stock of shotgun form with quatre-star chequering, brass furniture and replacement ramrod (woodwork with a number of working repairs, fore-end cracked through and repaired)
