A MID 19th CENTURY STOCK-RESERVOIR AIR-GUN WITH TWO SETS OF BARRELS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, in a later case,
circa 1850, with a round micro-rifled 54-bore 30in. barrel fitted with a small blade fore-sight and standing notch rear-sight and an interchangeable round 40-bore shot-barrel of the same length, the latter with a full-length under-rib and brass mounted ebony ramrod, borderline and scroll engraved boxlock action with side cocking 'hammer', tap-action breech and safety lever, stock air-reservoir re-covered in hard leather (exterior of action worn with loss to engraved detail) and in a later oak case adapted for this air-gun and including its stirrup-pump, together with a magazine article and notes on similar weapons
