late variant circa 1933 with round 22in. rifled barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating notch rear-sight, plain air-chamber marked 'FLZ' within an oval border to rear, slab-sided trigger unit housing to rear, chequered walnut butt with capped pistol-grip and iron heel-plate, the left side of butt stamped 'ORIGINAL V' within a circle, applied trigger-guard with provision for front mounted trigger weight adjuster (absent), no provision for fore-end and barrel locking catch protruding through the cocking link, no finish remaining to exposed metal surfaces
