GUNWORKS. LEICESTER SQUARE. LONDON.', No.2 also with 'W.C.2.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, scalloped-back self-opening actions with slender fences, toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, bold scroll engraving, the makers name inscribed in elaborate cartouches, the undersides with 'HERCULES FINEST QUALITY MODEL', double rolled-edge triggerguards, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 5/8in. figured stocks, weight 6lb. 4oz.
