dated for 1888, with re-proved 33 1/4in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight with 'N.E.P.' stamped below, short nocksform, V.R. crown and model stamps to right hand side of receiver, tear-drop cocking indicator, working replacement walnut butt-stock with blanked-off short-lever aperture, iron furniture including long under-lever, heel-plate with brass screws, full military fore-end, bayonet lug to front barrel-band, iron clearing rod, fitted with sling-swivels
