circa 1880, with 19in. black enamelled barrel section, fixed smoothbore shot barrel with internal detachable rifle barrel, detachable brass nose-cap with attached mahogany ramrod, diminutive fixed open sights, aperture for key and concealed button trigger, 17in. straight black enamelled air reservoir, the valve signed 'G.E. LEWIS, BIRMINGHAM', horn bun pommel, the whole 36 1/2in. assembled and complete with its black enamelled pump and cocking key
