TWO .22 SIDE-LEVER AIR-RIFLES, MODELS 'HI-POWER' & 'COMBAT', serial no's. 38874 & 41338,
so called 'MKII' versions produced between 1985-1991, the first with 18in. barrel including muzzle-weight, the second with 9in. barrel including dummy flash-hider, both built without open sights, blued air-chambers railed for telescopic sights, para military style abs plastic stocks, the second with dummy magazine. the first fitted with sling swivels and including nylon sling, the second fitted with an earlier Sussex Armoury 4x28 telescopic sight, both rifles appearing little used.

Provenance: When the UK firm of Sussex Armoury failed in the early 1980s, the air-rifle section was reborn as Air Arms. Initially, they continued to produce the Sussex Armoury range of Jackal air-rifles, only re-badged as Air-Arms. In 1985, the whole range was revamped using better manufacturing processes and introducing a new range of high quality walnut stocked models. The 'military' range suffered as a result and sales of the plastic stocked rifles was slow, eventually being phased out in 1991. These later models are seldom encountered, and rarely in this condition when they are
