25in. nitro chopperlump barrels, matt Churchill-rib gold-inlaid 'XXV' at the breech end, the tubes engraved 'E.J. CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) LTD. ORANGE ST. GUNWORKS. LEICESTER SQUARE. LONDON.', and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, pinless lockplates with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, double rolled-edge triggerguard, profusely engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork, the underside gold-inlaid 'THE PREMIERE QUALITY' in an oval cartouche, retaining traces of renewed colour-hardening and finish, light pitting to edge of right lockplate, 15 1/4in. highly-figured stock (cracked and repaired at head), weight 6lb. 5oz., in its lightweight 'THE V.C.' leather guncase
