for 1908, with blued 6in. barrel, the raised sighting rib signed 'WILKINSON GUNMAKERS PALL MALL LONDON S.W.', beaded blade fore-sight, drift adjustable rear-sight blade to the stirrup barrel locking latch, the left hand side of top-strap marked 'WILKINSON-WEBLEY '05', fluted auto-ejecting cylinder, quick release catch mounted to the blued break-open frame, chequered walnut grips with silver escutcheon to the left and lanyard swivel at heel, the back-strap re-marked 'J.E. DYER' over '7th DGN GDS', the trigger guard bow with Wilkinson's number '2067', strong amount of original finish remaining and complete in its manufacturers leather covered storage case lined and compartmented in red baize, Wilkinson Sword trade label inside lid, the interior with tray for ammunition and retaining a period cleaning rod and oil-bottle, the lid initialled 'O.K..'

Provenance: Unfortunately the Wilkinson records are lost from this date but Webley records show this pistol was sold to Wilkinsons on 22 July 1908. We are gratefully indebted to www.armsresearch.co.uk for this information
