English circa 1840, with moulded 2 1/4in. barrel-group, moulded nipple-shield, rounded scroll engraved action with guarded trigger and bar hammer (traces of colour), the left hand side of action with vacant oval for a retailers name, chequered walnut bag-shaped grips and iron frame (some frosting)
