circa 1830, with round damascus 1 1/4in. barrels, borderlines engraved at the keyed muzzles, milled borders at breech, London proofs and the wording 'LONDON' and 'PATENT' within borderline engraved panels to the breech-blocks, squared boxlock action with moulded edges to the sides and engraved with acanthus foliage and geometrics, the right face bearing a barrel locking spring, the left signed 'LANG, HAYMARKET', integral nipple guard, dolphin headed central hammer, sliding safe to top-tang, chequered walnut bag-shaped grip of Irish form with white metal oval escutcheon to wrist and engraved and shaped white metal butt-cap, concealed automatic trigger, white finish
